Get started

Watch a coin being launched, start to finish, then managed after launch. Short videos for a Quick token, an Advanced token and everything you can change later, then the few things you need before you try it yourself.

On this page

The fastest way to understand Runitup is to watch a launch. Each video below walks through the real launch form on this site, one field at a time, and ends where you would press Launch and confirm in your wallet.

Launch a Quick token

A Quick token is a plain coin. Every trade pays a 1% fee and nothing else, and 75% of that fee is yours, paid out automatically for as long as people trade it. Almost every launch is a Quick launch.

About a minute and a half. Recorded on the live launch form.

What you saw, in order:

  1. Press Launch token at the top of any page.
  2. Leave the launch type on Quick.
  3. Give your coin a name and a ticker. An image and a description are optional; the preview on the right shows your coin card as you type.
  4. Pick the chain, and keep the default AMM venue (Uniswap V4) and pair (ETH) unless you have a reason to change them.
  5. Optionally add a dev buy, to buy your own coin inside the launch itself, before anyone else.
  6. Check the summary: starting market cap, launch fee, dev buy and the estimated total.
  7. Press Launch token and confirm in your wallet. Your coin is live and tradeable the moment it confirms.

Launch an Advanced token

An Advanced token adds a tax of your own, up to 9% on buys and 9% on sells, on top of the 1% standard fee. You choose where your share of it goes: to you, into the coin's liquidity, to people who stake it, or bought back and burned. Advanced launches are open on Robinhood Chain, Base, BNB Chain and Ethereum.

About two minutes. Recorded on the live launch form.

What is different from a Quick launch:

  1. Switch the launch type to Advanced.
  2. Set the buy tax and sell tax. The preview shows what a trader pays in all.
  3. Under Your share goes to, split your share between the creator wallet, liquidity, stakers and burn. Auto-balance keeps it at 100%.
  4. Pick Static or Dynamic. A static tax is fixed forever, for everybody, you included. A dynamic tax can be lowered later, and its split changed with 24 hours' notice. On either type, no rate can ever be raised.

After launch, buyers see your rates and where they go under Tax info on your coin's page.

Manage your launch

Once your coin is live, a few things stay in your hands. This video shows each of them on a real coin, from My launches to the coin's own page.

About two minutes. Recorded on a live Advanced coin with a dynamic tax.

What you saw, in order:

  1. Open My launches from your account, with the wallet that launched the coin. Each coin shows its holders, 24-hour volume and what it has earned.
  2. Press Edit details to change the coin's image, description and links (X, Telegram, Discord, website). Save changes asks your wallet to sign a message: no gas, no transaction. Editing your token has the details.
  3. Pay out fees sends what is waiting to your fee recipient right away, instead of waiting for the next automatic payout.
  4. Fee recipient is where your earnings go. Paste a new address and press Update, or split them between several wallets. This one is a transaction on chain. Fees still waiting go to whoever is the recipient when they are paid out, so press Pay out fees first if they should reach the old address. Collecting fees explains it.
  5. On your coin's page, below the swap card, are your creator controls. Only you see them.
  6. Dynamic tax (Advanced coins launched as dynamic): move a slider down and press Update tax. A lower rate applies at once. A change to where the tax goes waits 24 hours, so holders see it coming. No rate can ever be raised.
  7. Burn and auto-liquidity. About every hour the Keeper turns the Liquidity and Burn shares of your tax into your coin. The Liquidity share is added to the coin's locked pool; the Burn share buys your coin back and burns it. The card on the coin's page counts down to the next run. Each run moves the price by about 2% at most, so a large balance goes in over several runs. Fees and tax has the full rules.

Before you start

  • A wallet connected to the chain you want to launch on.
  • A little of that chain's gas token, enough for the launch fee plus gas. The exact total is on the summary before you confirm, and it does not include any money to seed the pool: your coin opens on its pool with its full supply, no seed needed.
  • A name and a ticker. Everything else has a working default.
